2K Update 2020

I have been following the program. This Sunday I was able to get to the 2K. Ran 2.03 Kilometers in 18 minutes and 49 seconds. The average pace is 9 minutes and 14 seconds per kilometer. 

I was less than solid on stretching so today I'll do Myrtl workout and also the egoscue routine. Tomorrow I start the week 4 run routine.

Congratulations on getting back to it! It looks as though you're making the transition in a healthy way. I hope you're feeling the benefits of all the positive changes you've made.

I spent most of the spring doing body weight exercises, working with stretch bands and a few light weight items. It took a few weeks to adjust back to the gym and weights, in June. I realized how much I am dependent on the gym. I hope the gyms remain open as the fall and winter approach.

I've gained about 10-15 pounds in the last 5 months, and am hoping at least half of it is muscle. lmao we'll see. In two weeks I go back to cut mode, with the goal to lose about 10-15 pounds in 3 months.

It's nice to see you posting here again. I'm sure getting back to competition levels will come much quicker than before. I look forward to seeing you get there.
