Very Delayed Post

I know I'm very behind. I've continued to workout as much as I can. I've been to three funerals, celebrated a wedding anniversary, and continuing my pushups while checking in fairly often. Pushups are still to send good vibes to my friend fighting pancreatic cancer.

I have had three massage therapists tell me my left side of my back looks "bigger" (either developed or inflamed) on the left side. The first two were students. The last confirmation came from a very experienced therapist. Her assessment is the my left trap, and left hip (I can't remember the exact muscle she told me) are constantly engaged and that has also weakened the right side. A friend gave me a book on rebalancing and I'll be going into that soon.

I'm still intending to go to the April 25 NASA NM meet. So I have continued to try and build strength. Instead of trying to catch up to several weeks of workouts I'll share my last heavy lifts and try to get back on track.

My best squat set so far is 225lbs for a set of 4. On the 1 rep calculator that gives me a 254lb max estimate. For bench press my max is 191 for a set of 3 (I realized one of the plates was 11lbs instead of 10!). That gives me an estimated max of 208lbs. For deadlifts it has been 255lbs for a set of 4, with the estimated max on that being 288. Interesting to me is that it is hard to get my gym deadlifts close to competition level. For bench and squat it seems like I lift more in gym than in competition. I'll have to figure out what that's about. It could be because of working out fasting, or maybe because deadlift is at the end of a competition day. Not sure how to figure that out.

My best squat at the last competition was 102.5 kilos (226 lbs), my best bench was 90 kilos (198lbs), and my best deadlift was 135 kilos (298lbs).

Here's my goal range for the April meet:
Squat - 105k/231lbs - 112.5k/248lbs
Bench - 92.5k/204lbs - 97.5k/215lbs
Deadlift - 137.5k/304lbs - 145k/320lbs

KEEP GRINDING!!!
