Darn!
I was looking at a Traben bass at Musicians Friend on Monday and they had some nice 4 strings for $249.99. I was gonna try and purchase one on Friday, I decided to look again today and they are out of what I wanted. I don't know if I want a 5 string bass. It would mean more learning of instruments!
Oh, and here's the quote - I've heard the comment (mainly from one person) that this book is too pessimistic. I think it shows exactly what's going on in schools from my experience in working with them. You decide for yourself.
